Remember that during World War II many Jews weren’t allowed into countries with the excuse they might actually be Nazi spies (“Survivors differ on morality of Trump’s ban on refugees,” Feb. 7). This was said about the Jews from Germany. Countries couldn’t take the chance that even one Nazi spy could infiltrate the Jews wanting to come in and therefore no Jews were wanted. Sounds familiar.

I researched the beginnings of the war and was shocked at the similarities between what was said about the Jews and what is today said about the Muslims.
