High marks
I want you to know how impressed I was and how moved by the poem in Nu — NJJN’s teen magazine — called “To Believe or Not To Believe,” so beautifully written by Kineret Brokman, who is a student at Golda Och Academy. The sentiments she expressed in her poem speak to so many (Nu: Fresh Ideas from Garden State Teens, Dec. 12).
As a retired temple religious school educator, I have read untold creative pieces over the years written by thoughtful and talented students, but I must say that Kineret’s work tops them all. If I could, I would give Kineret’s work a well-deserved A++.
