Herman York
Herman York, 99, of Deal died May 22, 2011. He was born in New York City and lived there before moving to New Jersey in 1942.
Mr. York was a certified public accountant in Asbury Park and Neptune for over 50 years.
He was a member of Temple Beth Miriam, Elberon, The Deal Borough Club, and Hollywood Golf Club.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Frances Leffert York; his son, Harvey of Toms River; his daughter, Elizabeth York of McLean, Va.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 24 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
