Herman Wolfman, 92, of New York City died Sept. 28, 2015. Born in Irvington and raised in Newark, he lived in Newark until 1955, when he moved to Springfield, where he lived until 1969. He then lived in Short Hills until 2011, when he moved to New York City.
Mr. Wolfman worked as a finance executive for Diner’s Club from 1968 to 1972, then for Pan Am from 1972 to 1988. He retired from LexisNexis in 2011 at the age of 88.
Predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Debby, he is survived by two daughters, Elysse Wolfman and Shoo-Shoo (Stu) Bodow; a brother, Marcus; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 30 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
