Herman Robinson
Dr. Herman M. Robinson, 79, of Livingston died July 8, 2013. He was born in Brooklyn.
Dr. Robinson was a radiologist with his own practice; he also held staff positions at New York and New Jersey hospitals.
He earned his BS from Brooklyn College in 1957 and graduated cum laude from SUNY Downstate. He completed his residency at Montefiore Hospital.
He was president of several medical societies and a fellow of the American College of Radiology.
Overcoming disability from polio, he became a swimmer, tennis player, skier, and golfer. He was also an amateur photographer.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Hope; his daughter, Lori; two sons, David and Mitchell; three siblings; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held July 12 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America.
