Herbert Tuteur

Herbert Tuteur, 93, of North Wales, Pa., died Jan. 10, 2013. Born in Karlsruhe, Germany, he resided in West Orange for over 50 years before his recent move to Pennsylvania.

Mr. Tuteur was a longstanding certified public accountant and a founding member of Meisel, Tuteur & Lewis PC, Roseland. He was a past president of the New Jersey Society of CPAs and its Essex County chapter.

He was a member of B’nai Shalom of West Orange for over 60 years and was a significant supporter of United Jewish Appeal.

Predeceased by his wife, Sylvia (Love), he is survived by his son, Robert (Ann) of North Wales; his daughter, Gail-Ann (Leonard) Simon of Sudbury, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was also the companion of the late Mary Gladstone.

Services were held Jan. 13 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Abramson Center for Jewish Life, 1425 Horsham Road, North Wales, PA 19454; or Wayside Hospice, 266 Cochituate Rd., Wayland, MA 01778.
