Herbert Levine
Herbert B. Levine, 88, of Silver Spring, Md., died Jan. 9, 2013. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, he grew up in Brooklyn and also resided in Belmar and Tucson, Ariz.
Mr. Levine was a leading salesman for Majestic Wine and Spirits in Pennsauken.
He was a veteran of World War II, and a life member of Jewish War Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars. While living in Tucson, he was commander of Post 201 of JWV.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma Levy Levine; his son, Alan Levine (Jennifer) of Charlottesville, Va.; his daughter, Ann Gang (Stephen) of Silver Spring, Md.; and his grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 11 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 1120 G Street NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20005.
