Henry Schnirman

Henry Schnirman, 92, of Florham Park died Aug. 23, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Irvington and Clark before moving to Florham Park a year and a half ago.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Schnirman was an owner of a gourmet food store. Before that, he owned a produce store on Springfield Avenue in Newark.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Bernice (Dubinsky); two daughters, Naomi Cohen and Judith Pirylis; his son, David; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Services were held Aug. 24 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
