Hell on horizon
The next 16 months may be pure hell for Israel.
After the Iran agreement and the United Nations meeting, it is obvious that Israel is considered expendable by the world, Obama, the Democratic party, and the liberal Jewish Democrats. Even the American Association of University Professors, which has many Jewish members, has come out in their journal with an article advocating “boycott of Israel academic institutions” without a counter ethical response. Europe has become anti-Semitic and anti-Israel. The Palestinians will become more belligerent and will try to bring back the Intifada, knowing Israel has little support.
The only group Israel can count on for support is the Evangelicals. Whether the Evangelicals have enough political clout to change the course of history is uncertain.
I do not believe Israel will quietly go into the gas chamber. Hopefully the critical moment to decide to attack will arrive after the current president is out of office.
If Israel decides it is necessary to attack during the next 16 months, do not expect any help from the White House; you may expect to see just the opposite. There is no Nixon to strip the reserve armament from Europe when Israel ran out of ammunition during the Yom Kippur War.
