Heidi Jo Perlman-Wheeler
Heidi Jo Perlman-Wheeler of Scotch Plains died June 30, 2012. Born in Detroit, she lived in New York, Jersey City, and Edison for eight years before moving to Scotch Plains 13 years ago.
Mrs. Perlman-Wheeler was a physical therapist for the Visiting Nurse Association of Central NJ, Monroe Township.
She held a BA from the University of Michigan in psychology and a BS and MS from Long Island University in health sciences and physical therapy. She was a member of the PTA of Scotch Plains and the American Physical Therapists Association.
She is survived by her husband, David Wheeler; three sons, Brandon, Ryan, and Andrew Wheeler; her daughter, Jordyn Wheeler; and her mother, Beryl Perlman, and a sister, Nita Cohen, both of Birmingham, Mich.
Services were held July 2 at Congregation Beth Israel, Scotch Plains, with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
