Harvey Zeitel

Harvey Zeitel, 74, of Short Hills died Aug. 28, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in West Orange before moving to Short Hills 50 years ago. 

Mr. Zeitel was the owner and president of North Bay Apparel, New York City, for 40 years before retiring in 2010. He received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in economics from New York University. 

He was a member of Temple B’nai Abraham, Livingston, for over 40 years and maintained membership at the Crestmont Country Club in West Orange and the Polo Club in Boca Raton, Fla. 

He is survived by his wife, Naomi (Leader); two daughters, Leslie Shapiro of Short Hills and Rachel Zeitel of New York City; and three grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 31 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
