Harvey Dultz, 80, of Lyons died June 22, 2013. Born in Newark, he resided in Menlo Park Terrace and Edison before moving to Lyons in 2008.
Mr. Dultz was employed by the Newark Board of Education for over 40 years, first as a teacher at Newton St. School, and later as a vice principal at Sussex Avenue and Louise Spencer schools.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and his master’s from Seton Hall University.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a member of Congregation Neve Shalom, Metuchen.
Predeceased by his daughter Mindy Dultz, he is survived by his wife, Davene (Cream); two daughters, Ellen and Nancy Dultz, both of Fords; and a brother, Norman of South Orange.
Services were held June 24 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
