Harvey William Cohen, 87, of Livingston died April 2, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn.
Mr. Cohen started work at the Square Electric Supply Company, an electrical wholesale business in Jersey City, which he ultimately bought and moved to Parsippany.
He attended the City College of New York and received his MBA from New York University Business School.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He served on the boards of Newark Academy and Crestmont Country Club. He also was active with Congregation B’nai Jeshurun and the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ.
Predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Rita F., he is survived by his daughter, Susan Cohen Pannullo; his son, Jeffrey; son-in-law Joseph Pannullo; daughters-in-law Chris Meltzer Cohen and Michelle Cohen Samansky; seven grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
