Harry Phillip Lowy, 91, of Springfield died April 13, 2019. A lifelong New Jersey resident, he moved to Springfield in 1956.
Mr. Lowy graduated from Columbia High School in 1945 and from Syracuse University in 1950.
He served during World War II as an Army surveyor in occupied Japan.
He spent many years on the Millburn First Aid Squad, including serving as president. He was a lifetime member of Temple Sha’arey Shalom in Springfield.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Joan (Seidband); his son, Tom (Elizabeth) of Wayne, Pa.; his daughter, Debra of Newport, R.I.; and five
