Harold Rapp
Harold Rapp, 85, of Ewing died Feb. 21, 2017. Born in Brooklyn, he was a resident of Ewing for nearly 20 years.
Mr. Rapp had a long career as a food technologist for several companies.
He received a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.A. from University of Wisconsin. He served in the Army Corps of Engineers as a first lieutenant.
After his retirement, he enjoyed playing volleyball and gardening and was involved with the local Sierra Club.
Predeceased by his wife, Gail, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Rapp and Florence (Jeffrey) Mitchell; two sons, Evan (Shelly) and Daniel (Michelle); a sister, Margaret Burman; two brothers, Ralph and Donald; and three grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 24 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
