Harold Dorin, 96, of Alexandria Township died July 10, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Cranford and Boynton Beach, Fla., before moving to Alexandria nine years ago.
During his career in the clothing manufacturing and retail business, Mr. Dorin joined his brother, Milton, in the 1960s and 1970s with Wilshire Fashions in South River. In the 1980s and 1990s, he was the owner/operator of Nason’s, Linden.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Rutgers University.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served during World War II.
Predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Stern), he is survived by four sons, Mitchell of Orlando, Fla., Joseph of Highlands, Gary of Alexandria, and Elliot of Washington, D.C.
Services were held July 12 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
