Gordon Ruben
Gordon Ruben, 98, of Toronto died March 1, 2013.
Mr. Ruben worked with his brother and father at Louis Ruben Clothes in Toronto, which was started by their father in 1913.
Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Frances (“Frankie”), he is survived by three daughters, Roberta (Walter) Zweifler of South Orange, Mickey (Eddie) Pitch of Maple, Ontario, and Bakol (Sheldon) Gellar of Jerusalem; his son, Stephen (Sharilyn Niehaus) of New York City; a sister, Selma Manilla; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 4 at Beth Tzedec Synagogue, Toronto.
