Gladys Schwartz
Gladys Schwartz (Malina), 82, of Springfield died March 3, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Jersey City before moving to Springfield in 1969.
Before her retirement in 1985, Mrs. Schwartz was employed for over 30 years as a medical technician for the Veterans’ Administration in Newark.
She was active in Hadassah and Jewish Women’s International.
She is survived by her husband, Alan, and a sister, Rosalind Levin of Rhode Island.
Services were held March 6 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
