Gladys Ross
Gladys Ross (Stein) of White Plains, NY, died June 4, 2011. She lived in Newark and Mt. Vernon, NY, before moving to White Plains five years ago.
Mrs. Ross was a teacher in Union and a speech pathologist in Mt. Vernon schools.
She earned her BA from Trenton State College and her MA from the City College of New York.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; her daughter, Susan Press of Richmond, Va.; her son, Robert of Scarsdale, NY; two sisters, Elayne Lite of West Orange and Pearl Fertell of Chester Springs, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
Services were held June 4 with arrangements by Riverside Memorial Chapel, Mt. Vernon.
