Gilbert Weinberger

Gilbert Weinberger, 79, of Boca Raton, Fla., died Dec. 11, 2011. Born in Trenton, he lived in Yardley, Pa., for more than 40 years.

Mr. Weinberger owned and operated Metwood, Inc. of Trenton for more than 50 years. After selling it, he worked for Wilco Food Distributors for more than 10 years.

He served in the U.S. Army.

He graduated from Trenton High School and Rider University.

He was a member of Green Acres Country Club and the Polo Club, as well as Adath Israel of Trenton.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam (Wilensky); two daughters, Beth Miller and Lori Levy; his son, Marc; two sisters, Selma Cohen and Hortense Ungerleider; a brother, Bernard; and seven grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 14 with arrangements by Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael-Sacks Suburban North Chapel, Southampton, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or Greenwood House, Ewing.
