Geraldine Unger
Geraldine “Gerry” Unger, 101, of Rockaway died Nov. 3, 2010. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Orange and West Orange for many years before moving to Florida.
Mrs. Unger was the head of Gerry Unger Caterers for more than 30 years.
After her retirement, she was an active member of the Florida Auxiliary of the National Asthma Center, serving as chapter president and winning excellence in service awards.
Predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Eugene, she is survived by her son, Michael of Rockaway; her daughter, Gail Green of Wharton; three grandsons; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 4 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
