Geraldine Silverstein
Geraldine V. Silverstein (Cohen), 79, of Yardley, Pa., died July 10, 2012. She was born and grew up in New York City.
Mrs. Silverstein began her teaching career in the Bronx and later taught in Ewing Township school system. She retired as a middle school teacher after 25 years of service with the Pennsbury, Pa., school district.
She was a 1954 graduate of Hunter College.
She was a member of Adath Israel Congregation, Lawrenceville.
Predeceased by her first husband, David Pitasky, in 1980 after 25 years of marriage, she is survived by her husband of 27 years, Milton Silverstein; three daughters, Donna Dimon, Jill Kwasny, and Vicki Piel; two stepchildren, Bruce Silverstein and Sherryl Watson; a brother, Robert Cohen; and six grandchildren.
