George Oster
Dr. George Oster of Montclair died March 24, 2016. Born in Vienna, he also had lived in Manhattan.
An optometry physician, Dr. Oster retired in 2006 from his Manhattan practice.
An Army veteran, he served from 1943 to 1947.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Fry); his son, Benek (Imke), and his daughter, Melaine (Paul) Schneider, both of Montclair; and four grandchildren.
Services were held March 25 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Cedar Grove.
