Gayle Peyton
Gayle Krich Peyton, 75, of South Orange died Sept. 26, 2012. Born in Newark, she was a resident of South Orange for 52 years.
Mrs. Peyton was a generous contributor to the St. Barnabas Cancer Center and was an advocate for improving cancer patient comfort and care. She was also recognized on the Ben-Gurion Blvd. commemorative wall mural at Daughters of Israel, West Orange. She was a lifelong member and benefactor of Temple B’nai Jeshurun, Short Hills.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Daniel M.; three daughters, Randi Strauss, Jill Levy, and Lisa Braunstein; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 28 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
