Gary Rothberg

Gary Rothberg, 65, of Princeton died Jan. 31, 2019. Born in Queens, he grew up there and later in Livingston.

Mr. Rothberg was an architect, serving as director of overseas operations at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He went on to enjoy a career at the Hertz Corporation, and later at Dunkin’ Donuts, where he designed many of the stores throughout New Jersey. More recently he designed for Travelex.

He was a graduate of Syracuse University.

Predeceased by his parents, William (Billy) and Doris, he is survived by a brother, Neil (Marti) Rothberg.

Services were held Feb. 3 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or The Jewish Center in Princeton.
