JCC METROWEST presents an exhibit of pastels and photography by Gaelen Juried Art Show award winners Anita Gladstone and Albert Martin. The exhibit will be on view through April 28.

Gladstone is an award-winning pastel artist who said she finds pastels’ wonderfully vibrant colors to be an exciting way to express her interest in the beauty of landscapes.

The subject of photographer Martin’s exhibit is flowers. He purchased flowers and let them dry naturally. Then he photographed them with a macro lens.

“Not only have I been able to capture the colors of the flowers, but the technique has allowed me to capture both the interesting shapes of these dried flowers and the texture of the petals.”

The art show winners exhibit takes place in the Gaelen Gallery East located in the JCC MetroWest, West Orange. The gallery is open during JCC operating hours. For more information contact Lisa Suss at 973-530-3413 or
