Fredric M. Milstein

Fredric M. Milstein, 73, of West Long Branch died June 12, 2011. Born in Jersey City, he lived on the Jersey Shore since 1963.

Mr. Milstein was a partner at the law firm Madnick, Milstein, Mason, Weber & Collazo in Neptune, where he specialized in workers’ compensation law. On May 2, he received the Abraham Zager Award for Professionalism for exemplifying the highest standards of his profession. He was chair of the Ethics Committee of the Monmouth County Bar Association and of the Workers’ Compensation Committee.

He graduated cum laude from Princeton University and Columbia Law School.

He was a member of Congregation Torat El in Ocean Township.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Robin (Madnick); two sons, Kevin of Tinton Falls and Jed of Watchung; his daughter, Alison of Summerlin, Nev.; his sister, Susan Simon of Boca Raton, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

Services were held June 13 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
