Franklin Tapper
Franklin A. Tapper, 73, of Somerset died Oct. 3, 2015. Born in Newark, he grew up in Hillside.
Mr. Tapper was a lithographer at The Kenny Press for many years before retiring in 2002.
He was a Vietnam veteran who served from 1968 to 1970. He was a member of Jewish War Veterans, American Legion, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Helen; his daughter, Cheryl (Bill); a brother, Edward; and two grandsons.
Services were held Oct. 7 with arrangements by Gleason Funeral Home, Somerset. Memorial contributions may be made to National Stroke Association.
