Frances Weisslitz
Frances Weisslitz (Friedman), 100, of West Orange died Nov. 20, 2013. Born in Russia, she lived in Newark and Livingston before moving to West Orange 10 years ago.
Mrs. Weisslitz was a clerical worker for the Safer and Simon Candy Co., Newark, from 1929 to 1939, then with the Maryland Casualty Co., East Orange, from 1958 to 1968, when she retired.
Predeceased by her husband, Abe, she is survived by two sons, Harvey (Marilyn) of Jackson and Edward (Marcia) of Millburn; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 22 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
