Frances Shapiro
Frances R. Rudnick Shapiro, 77, of West Windsor died Aug. 27, 2014. Born in the Bronx, she resided in Kendall Park before moving to West Windsor in 2002.
Prior to her retirement in 2001, Mrs. Shapiro was a salesperson for Lavake in Princeton, where she worked for over 15 years.
She was a congregant of the Jewish Community Center of Long Beach Island. She was a member of the Kendall Park Ladies Auxiliary Fire Company and past president of Temple Beth Shalom in Kendall Park.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Norman (“Norm”); her son, Andrew D. (Marni) of New York City; two daughters, Sari L. (Brad) Rubin of Marlboro and Cynthia (Jonathan) Root of Westfield; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 28 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Community Center of Long Beach Island, 15 E. 24th St., Long Beach Twp., NJ 08008.
