Frances R. Flacks
Frances R. Flacks, 94, of Ewing died Jan. 19, 2011. Born in Trenton, she was a former resident of Pottstown, Pa., returning to Trenton after her high school graduation. She resided in Ewing for the past 63 years.
Mrs. Flacks was retired from the Visiting Nurse Association in Trenton.
She was an advocate for senior citizens’ rights and benefits for spouses of deceased veterans. She was passionate about politics, particularly in Ewing, and was a frequent contributor to the editorial pages of local newspapers.
Predeceased by her husband, Irwin M., she is survived by two sons, Franklin L. and Lewis, both of Ewing; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Private services were held at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House or Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center.
