Frances Miller
Frances Miller, 89, of West Orange died July 7, 2013. Born in Newark, she also lived in Irvington and Elizabeth before moving to West Orange in 2007.
Mrs. Miller was the bookkeeper at a family business, Levinson Furniture in Newark, for 25 years, retiring in 1967.
She was very active in NA’AMAT USA and Hadassah in Union County, and was a lifetime member of Deborah Hospital, Jewish Women International, and the National Council of Jewish Women.
Predeceased by her nephew, Charles Levinson, she is survived by her husband of 66 years, Edward; two nieces, Suzanne (Howie) Samelson and Eileen (Donald) Bergman; two great-nephews; a great-niece; and a great-great-niece.
Services were held July 9 with arrangements by Prout Funeral Home, Verona. Memorial contributions may be made to NA’AMAT USA, Hadassah, or Deborah Hospital.
