Frances Goodman
Frances Goodman, 92, of West Orange died Sept. 18, 2018. She was born in Newark and lived for many years in Livingston.
Mrs. Goodman was a longtime employee of the Newark Board of Education, working as a clerk, teacher, and a supervisor of a child study team. She also worked as a real estate salesperson.
She graduated from South Side High School in Newark and earned a bachelor’s degree from Kean College and a master’s degree from Montclair State University. She also participated in the Life Long Learning Program at Caldwell College.
Predeceased by her husband, Lawrence, she is survived by her son, Robert (Debra), and a sister, Alice Nadell.
Private services were held with arrangements by Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, Maplewood. Memorial contributions may be made to Daughters of Israel, West Orange.
