Florence Brockman Seglin of West Bloomfield, Mich., died March 13, 2014. Born in Newburgh, NY, she moved to the Weequahic section of Newark as a child.
Mrs. Seglin had a 32-year career at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel, South Orange, from which she retired as director and where she was also president.
She graduated from Weequahic High, Newark, where she remained an active member of the alumni association.
Predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Arthur, in 2009, she is survived by her daughter, Joyce Seglin of West Bloomfield; her son, Mark (Sunny) Seglin of West Orange; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 17 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the music fund at Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel.
