Florence D. Ross, 97, of Delray Beach, Fla., died Aug. 3, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, she formerly lived in Trenton.
Mrs. Ross worked for the State of New Jersey and, prior to that, for Reid’s Jewelers in Trenton.
She was a member of Adath Israel Congregation in Trenton, where she served as sisterhood president. She was later a member of Congregation Beth Ami in Boca Raton, Fla. She was a life member of Hadassah and a member of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County in Florida.
Predeceased by her husband, Morris, in 1986, she is survived by her daughter, Susan (Jon) Mandell of Manalapan; her son, Glen (Rhoda) Ross of Armonk, NY; a sister, Toby Ludmer of Ewing; a brother, Seymour Graboyes of Lansdale, Pa.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 5 with arrangements by Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Delray Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ.
