Florence Lamb

Florence Lamb (Goldman), 90, of Whippany died Nov. 28, 2013. She lived in Brooklyn before moving to Whippany 12 years ago.

Mrs. Lamb worked for the New York City Board of Education as a supervisor of school lunch programs for Dist. 22 in Brooklyn.

She received a BA from New York University in nutrition.

She was actively involved in the Lester Senior Housing Community’s synagogue as well as other committees.

She is survived by her son, David; her daughter, Susan (Abbi) Warshaw; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 29 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
