Florence G. Goldsmith, 99, of Ewing died March 12, 2015. She was born in Bethlehem, Pa., and raised in Plainfield. After her retirement in the mid-1970s, she lived in Bay Harbor Island, Fla., before moving to Ewing in 1989 and remaining in the Trenton area for the rest of her life.
Mrs. Goldsmith worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in the Plainfield area until her retirement.
She was a life member of Hadassah, serving as president of four Hadassah chapters. She had volunteered at Greenwood House in Ewing, primarily in the gift shop.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 1984, she is survived by her son, Brian (Maxine) of Hopewell Twp.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 13 with arrangements by Riverside Memorial Chapels, Ewing.
