Florence Glovin

Florence Ina Kempin Glovin, 84, of West Orange died Aug. 25, 2013. She was born in the Bronx, and moved to New Jersey in 1951, first in Weehawken and then Fair Lawn.

Mrs. Glovin was a member of the Jewish Community Housing Corporation Resident Choral Group and was singled out annually to sing the national anthem at its annual meeting.

Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Max, in 2001, she is survived by three sons, Michael (fiance Sheryl Bossack) of Pompton Lakes, Bill (Sheryl) of Nutley, and David (Jill) of Waldwick; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 28 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Community Housing Corporation, 750 Northfield Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052.
