Florence Frischman
Florence Frischman, 85, of Pompton Plains died March 2, 2014. Born in Tarrytown, NY, she lived in Morristown and later Whippany before moving to Pompton Plains in 2013.
Mrs. Frischman was a second-grade teacher for 45 years in Whippany, where she was recognized and honored as a “Master Teacher.” She retired in 1997.
She was a past president of Women’s American ORT and a member of Temple B’nai Or and its sisterhood in Morristown.
Predeceased by her husband, Joseph, she is survived by three sons, Gary of Boonton, Daniel of Burbank, Calif., and William of Valley Glen, Calif.; a brother, Alfred Abraham of New York City; and four grandchildren.
Services were held March 4 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Whippany.
