Felice Kardos
Felice Kardos, 72, of Rumson died Jan. 28, 2016. She grew up in Brooklyn and Long Beach, NY. She lived with her family in West Long Branch for two decades before moving to Sea Bright and later to Rumson.
Mrs. Kardos taught English at Truman University in Missouri and later at Hillel High School in Deal.
She graduated from Douglass College and received a master’s degree in English from New York University.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Stephen; her daughter, Julie (Richard Diefes); her son, Michael (Catherine Pierce); a brother, Steven Rifkin; and five grandsons.
Services were held Jan. 29 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapel, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
