Federation to host ‘Party with a Purpose’
IN LIEU OF the annual Main Event, Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey is hosting “Party with a Purpose,” a spring gala for men, women, couples, and singles. The event, taking place Tuesday, May 21, will celebrate women, from a cross section of Monmouth and Middlesex counties, who share the highest ideals of leadership and involvement in the Jewish community.
Linda Block will receive the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland (KWF) award. Other honorees, and previous recipients, include Claire Boren, Jane Cantor, Elise Feldman, Sheryl Grutman, Eva Stahl z”l, Bobbi Krantz, Barbara Littman z”l, Susan Mandell, Wendy Marks, Judy Premselaar, Rona Shein, Harriet Tabak z”l, and Phoebe Wofchuck.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. at Club Pure in South Amboy and will include cocktails, dinner, and entertainment by mentalist Sidney Friedman. Dietary laws will be observed.
