Federation offers free High Holiday tickets
METROPASS, NOW in its eighth year, provides qualified newcomers to the community with complimentary tickets to High Holiday services at participating congregations.
A program of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ and area synagogues, MetroPass now includes 44 congregations of all denominations throughout the region, including Essex, Morris, Union, and Sussex counties, and parts of Somerset County.
The application process includes questions to help identify the best match for individuals or families looking for a place to worship.
“The program enables people in the community who are not yet members of synagogues to experience the High Holidays at a synagogue that fits their needs,” said Sarah Segal, federation’s manager of synagogue initiatives. Participants can “explore new places to worship, and synagogues identify prospective new congregants.”
The request form is available at jfedgmw.org/metropass until Aug. 31. For information, contact Segal at ssegal@jfedgmw.org or 973-929-2952.
