Fay Tenenbaum, 93, of Sacramento, Calif., died Oct. 2, 2013. She was born in Newark and lived in the New York City area for 78 years before moving to California in 1997.
Mrs. Tenenbaum worked as an interior designer for 50 years. During World War II she worked in the aircraft industry assembling engines.
She graduated from Newark College of Fine and Industrial Arts.
She was involved with the Dante Club, playing bridge several times a week with different partners. She enjoyed travelling annually to Mexico for many years.
She is survived by her son, Spencer (Vicki) Silverbach of Sacramento; three grandchildren; a great-grandson. Her first great-granddaughter was born a day after her death.
