“What You Need to Know About Elder Abuse”
Senior Resource Center at The Lavy House, Westfield, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The center is a joint venture between Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFSCNJ) and Temple Emanu-El of Westfield. Presented by Peter Jacob, MSW, LSW, program manager for JFSCNJ and Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ’s Project CEASSE: Combatting Elder Abuse Through Services and Education. Stein Hospice on the Wilf Campus for Campus for Senior Living in Somerset offers a free bereavement support group to anyone struggling with the loss of a loved one, facilitated by Stein Hospice social worker Lori Dillon and chaplain Rabbi Bryan Kinzbrunner on the second Tuesday of each month, 4-5 p.m. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
