Trip to Poughkeepsie
JCC of Middlesex County, Edison, will take a fall trip to Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on Wednesday, Oct. 10, leaving the JCC at 8:30 a.m. and returning at about 5:30 p.m. Highlights will include the Locust Grove Estate museum and nature preserve. Actor’s Temple

Back in time
Raritan Valley Hadassah will present a Trip in Time, back to 1901, on Wednesday, June 12, with a guided tour of a Lower East Side synagogue; bus tour of historic East Broadway; visit to a shtiebel, a one-room house of prayer; visit to the Center for Jewish History; and stops at various shops.
