Dr. Susannah Heschel of Dartmouth University will serve as Rabbi Gerald L. Zelizer Scholar in Residence Friday-Saturday, March 22 and 23, at Neve Shalom, Metuchen. She will present “The Life and Thought of Abraham Joshua Heschel” on March 22 at 7:30 p.m., “Jewish Views of Islam” on March 23 at 9 a.m., and “The Tenacious Nature of Racism” following Shabbat lunch on March 23. Pajama Neshama
Bring your pre-school children in their PJs for an age-appropriate Shabbat service. There will be singing, an activity and even a story – all concluding with a light, child-friendly Shabbat dinner!
