The Dedication of the Temple Emanu-El Holocaust Remembrance Center will offer the first opportunity to explore the opening exhibit, "Life and Loss in Germany: The 80th Anniversary of Kristallnacht." Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains will host the annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Monday, November 19, at 7:30 p.m. The service is sponsored by the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Ministerial Association, which is comprised of local faith leaders, town mayors, the Scotch Plains-Fanwood School Superintendent and the heads of several non-profit organizations. Chanukah in the community – Chabad of Robbinsville and South Hamilton
Chabad of Robbinsville and South Hamilton will host the third annual Chanukah Wonderland on Sunday, Dec. 2, 4-6 p.m. The event will feature the building of a LEGO menorah, a candle factory, dinner, and dreidel spinning competition.
