Clothing Drive
Clothing drive to benefit residents of a third world country. Contributions can include clothes, shoes, toys, linens, and CDs/DVDs; drop items off at the temple from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays (1 p.m. Friday) and with special late hours, 6-9 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 2.

Backyard beach party
A Backyard Beach Party will be held at Adath Israel Congregation, Lawrenceville, on Thursday, Aug. 16, 6-8 p.m. The event will feature water games and ices and salads, sandwiches, and sides. At 8, Yonatan Katz Lukato will share the history and current situation of the Jews of Uganda, known as the Abayudaya. Teen philanthropy
Jewish Community Youth Foundation, which brings together teens in grades eight through 12 from the Mercer and Bucks counties area, will kick off its 16th year giving back to local, national, and global non-profits this fall. JCYF is a project of Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County and funded by the Ricky and Andrew J. Shechtel Philanthropic Fund and the Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks.
