Makhelat Hamercaz Jewish Choir of Central New Jersey will present its annual concert, “From Broadway to Bimah,” on Wednesday, May 29, at 7:30 p.m. at Highland Park High School. Casino night
Temple B’nai Shalom in East Brunswick will host its third annual Casino Night featuring Lightening Poker on Saturday, June 1, 8 p.m. to midnight. JCC of Middlesex County, Edison, will hold its fourth annual JCC/ Hadassah Dinner and Show on Tuesday, June 4, at 6:15 p.m. Music will be provided by Six Sharp Band, a six-piece cover band playing hits of the 60s, 70s, and 80s. “Elton John & Tim Rice’s AIDA” will continue through June 16 at Axelrod Performing Arts Center, Deal Park. The show ran on Broadway for four years and won four Tony Awards in 2000. APAC’s newest production is directed and choreographed by Broadway performer and choreographer Luis Salgado (“In The Heights” and “On Your Feet!”).
