Yom HaShoah Commemoration at Congregation Beth Israel
Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains will commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day, known as Yom HaShoah in Hebrew, on Sunday, April 28, at 5:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the community, and is appropriate for families. The event will feature presentations by guest speakers Heather Markowitz and Eva Vogel. “Witnesses: Sharing the Stories of New Jersey Holocaust Survivors” will be screened at Marlboro Free Public Library at 1 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 2:45.
